I offer a number of bespoke training workshops ranging from One on One Steadicam™ operation to film camera assistant workshops. Available in Manchester, UK or contact me to arrange.
The One on One Steadicam™ Workshops
I am very happy to be able to offer this unique personal workshop.
Usually it is just 1 or 2 days and we cover ALL areas of ‘Steadicam™ ’ Operating.
I can also offer a One on One AR workshop as well.
This works very well with Everyone’s schedules..

Beginners Steadicam™ Training Workshops
The introductory aspects including:

Theory of how Steadicam™ works

Basic set up of the system

Basic Operating Techniques

Tricks of the trade
(Suitable for anyone with little or no Steadicam™ experience)

What you receive:
I always aim to have one system per student – ensuring everyone has the best chance of learning.
Unlike some workshops where 4 people share 1 system = around 10mins per hour in the rig.
During my workshops you can wear the system as long as you want.
Work at your own pace, equaling a more realistic “on set experience”
Advanced Steadicam™ Training Workshops
“Advanced” covers the advanced aspects including:

Advanced technique and set up

Working on certain aspects of Steadicam Operating (like Don Juan)

Hard Mount on Rickshaw and ATV Quad Bike

Understanding a crane Step on and off v ramps

Using Gyros to stabilize the sled further
(Suitable for anyone who has used Steadicam™ quite regularly.) Available in Manchester, UK or contact me to arrange.
I can combine the beginners and advanced Steadicam™ training workshops over 2 days for a fuller one on one session.
